Football falls in home opener vs. Beavercreek

The varsity football team lost 35-6 in their season opener at home to Beavercreek on Thursday August 24th.  The Bucs trailed 14-0 at halftime but early in the 3rd quarter senior defensive back Jelanie Tucker intercepted a Beavercreek pass and scampered 26 yards for the only touchdown of the game for Xenia.  Beavercreek was able

Girls Volleyball wins season opener over Wilmington

The girls volleyball team started the 2017 fall season with a  3 set victory over Wilmington high school last week.  The 2016 GWOC American South champions then fell to Stebbins 3-1 and Springfield 3-1.  The volleyball team is back in action Tuesday August 29th at Trotwood.

Cross Country teams make season debut at Northwestern Invite last Saturday

The 2017 cross country season began for both boys and girls teams this past Saturday at the Northwestern Invitational.  The boys team placed 5th out of 13 teams.  Junior Trevor Orchard finished 11th overall with a time of 18:49.6.  The girls were led by freshman Kelsey Merriman.  Both teams are back in action this Saturday

2017/18 All-Sports passes are available in the athletic office.  Family passes $225 (4passes)  Adult passes $75 and student passes are $50 good for all home games throughout the school year that are not OHSAA tournament games.   New this year football parking passes will be on sale for all home varsity football games for $20

Girls Varsity Soccer pays special visit to Jimmy Garrison on his 10th Birthday

The Xenia Community Schools has once again partnered with Kettering Sports Medicine for the districts sports medicine.  Kettering will provide two certified full-time trainers and a part time strength coach for our athletic programs.  The school district is extremely  excited to once again be partnered with Kettering and look forward to the future.
