Parents & Student-Athletes,
Monday June 15th begins Phase II of our return to athletic participation. Many of the same precautions from Phase I must be followed. Student-athletes are required to self-check their temperature before coming to any workout. Any athlete who doesn’t feel well or has a temperature above 100.0 degrees should not attend. Athletes are also required to bring their own water as none will be provided. Athletes must also come dressed ready to workout (no locker-rooms will be available) and leave immediately following their scheduled time. All high school sports and athletes entering grades 9-12 will begin skills training and/or weight lifting beginning this week. The current schedule is attached and all varsity head coaches should have communicated this schedule to their athletes. If you have any questions please contact your head coach or myself.
Student-athletes entering the 7th and 8th grade will continue their conditioning and begin basic body-weight resistance training at the high school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11am-12pm.
Please continue to take every precaution as we get closer to August 1st. These precautions will give us a better chance of having a full fall sports season!
Reminder that all FinalForms documents must be completed each year for each sport and an updated physical must be on file in the athletic training room to participate beginning August 1st.
